Why Goldendoodles?

Goldendoodles are considered by many as the "perfect" family dog breed because the many qualities the mixed breed exhibits.  Originally bred as service and seeing eye dogs for handlers with allergies, this designer mix has exploded in popularity finding its way into peoples hearts and homes over the past 30 years.  The F1 or 50/50 status of our litters means you get the highest blend of the desirable Golden Retrievers famous lovable personality and the Poodles intelligence and non-shedding coat. 

The Goldendoodle carries a status of a "designer dog" breed because of the non-shedding hypoallergenic nature of their coats. Though we can't give a 100% guarantee your puppy will not shed a little, most Goldendoodles do have a low to non-shedding coat compared to other breed. 

Breeders often produce F1b or F2b litters to achieve a more curly coat for buyers, but do so at a 25/75 golden to poodle blend.  We however prefer the F1 variety to better control personality or health issues many multi-generation back crosses could have.

A fully mature standard Goldendoodle will achieved a weight ranging from 45-100 lbs both male and female.  The parents size is a good gauge when trying to determine a how big a puppy may get.
